Vibram’s FiveFingers line of foot-glove shoes has taken off this year like gangbusters. Here some photograph is preview of the 2011 line, where the company will expand on its road running collection with the Bikila LS model. It has an off-center speed lacing system and a new type of sole.

Perhaps this was whats needed in the shoe market which requires creativity to quite an extent. This is something which smartly fits in for travelling and into everybody’s limited urban space. It was while packing for a trip, sneaker-biz experienced Stephen Yeung got an idea and it was the meeting with Matthias & Sebastian Thies from K&T which was the key-point to create a whole new range out of the idea. There were quite a few changes to optimize Nat -2 as what we see it today.

A car vending machine: This one comes from Japan where there are plenty of interesting vending machines and here we have one holding a full-size Smart Car. It’s not really a fully functional vending machine, the artificial vending machine has two choices (coupe and cabrio), and a convenient slot to insert the amount you need (about $20k). Push the button & it dispenses a tube containing pamphlets on the new models, supplier information, and a sheet of Smart Car stickers featuring the available colors.

First off let me say that I am a HUGE fan of Nagi Noda’s! This Japanese phenom was the creator of one of the strangest things I ever saw on the web. A video called “Ex Fat Girl” and features white poodles exercising to music. Check it out here. Her latest project is possibly as bizarre and absolutely brilliant at the same time. “Hair Hats” are exactly as the name implies, hats made of hair in the shape of animals. These designs are simply one of the most unique inspirations since Theodore Geisel invented Dr. Seuss. Creator/designer Nagi Nora has worked with creative geniuses like Jack White of White Stripes, Scissor Sisters and one of my favorite artist Mark Ryden on a new clothing line called Broken Label.

Pilo Pilo ring is a finger ring with a mini cushion attached to it, designed to be both stylish and useful. I myself know I leave all kinds strange marks on my face as I ponder the genius bestowed upon me. I’m not really a ring wearer but I’ve had more impressions of my wrist watch than I care to admit. A cushion on a ring? Hey, I’ve seen stranger and this concept actually makes sense to me.
